Since 1989, Timothy has been a consultant to industry. He has had prior experience in working for Employers and Authorised insurers and gained a unique and comprehensive knowledge of the Worker's Compensation Schemes Australia wide. He has a wealth of experience in managing on a national basis Workcover and Workers' Compensation, Occupational Health & Safety, Disability Discrimination and Equal Opportunity matters from both an industrial and legal perspective.
A successful industrial advocate, his services have ensured the successful reduction of Workcover and associated liabilities, cultural and workplace change and the appropriate management of claims for compensation.
Currently, Timothy is engaged by a variety of multi-national corporations in a number of States in Australia and the Northern Territory, providing assistance in:
- Training managers, supervisors, employees in aspects relating to Occupational Health & Safety management systems, procedures and workplace legislation.
- The conduct of workplace hazard audits and risk management assessments
- Preparation & co-ordination of return to work plans for injured employees
- Representation of employers in industrial disputes where remedies are sought against trade unions and their respective officials.
