Cherry practises in employment law, WorkCover and Workers’ Compensation, Occupational Health and Safety, and has extensive experience advising on workplace and HR policies. She has a particular interest in dispute resolution and civil litigation, and is focused on achieving practical, commercial outcomes for her clients.

Prior to qualifying as a lawyer, Cherry worked at world‑renowned stud farms and racing operations across the United States, Japan, New Zealand, England and Ireland, and has long acted as a consultant to horse trainers/farm managers on OH&S issues involving farms, machinery and animals. This background gives her a strong, real‑world understanding of workplace risk and safety compliance in  trade, industrial and high risk work environments.

In addition to English, Cherry is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin, and has a strong passion for assisting Chinese speaking  clients to navigate the complexities of Australian employment law. She is adept at explaining legal rights and obligations in a clear, accessible way, and supporting clients to manage workplace issues and regulatory risk across diverse cultural and business settings.
