At an early age James had the opportunity to visit the High Court of Australia which triggered his interest in pursuing a career in law.
Whilst studying a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce at Deakin University, he also completed studies in Maritime and Transportation Law at Stockholm University in Sweden where he gained specialty knowledge around international cargo, consumer law and insurance jurisdictional issues where cargo is lost.
James was admitted to the legal profession in November 2021 and commenced with Hentys Lawyers in early 2023. In his time at Hentys Lawyers he has gained experience in worker’s compensation, policy drafting, contractual arrangements and drafting, equal opportunity, Occupational Health & Safety, employment, industrial relations, and will preparation.
James believes that the best results are achieved for clients when you have built strong, long lasting relationships and therefore is driven to commit himself to ensuring he listens to clients and responds to them in a timely manner, without compromising on quality.
In his spare time, James likes spending time with friends, enjoying good food, watching movies, watching AFL, and playing basketball.
